I’ve been here more times then I can count and I love it here so much! The owner is such a sweet and beautiful women and the staff is always friendly! Great place to come for drinks and great Salvadorian food. I love the pupusas and could eat like 5 of them as a meal! It’s also super close to the subway so it’s convenient for me to get to and there is a metered parking lot right next to the restaurant if you are driv... View all feedback.
What Tommy Dippert doesn't like about Salvatoria Kitchen And:
The Pupusas for the table and the drink I had was great! The skirt steak tasted old, and the dish overall was lacking in refinement and really missed the mark. The skirt steak tacos again, lacking in refinement definitely needs a few more elements to bring the flavors together. Seating was an issue a little tight had to make due sitting on an enclosed sidewalk table. View all feedback.
We had a disappointing experience today. Our party of five received service for four people, and the food took nearly an hour. The table next to us got their additional food before us, even though it was the same order. To make matters worse, the receipt mistakenly said party of six with added gratuity. After requesting a correction, the staff didn’t handle it well. We asked to change it and brought it back the same. Went inside to ask for it to be changed again. The guy said they weren’t charging for six. When I said I wasn’t going to pay gratuity for bad service, the guy took the receipt, crumbled it up and got me another one with bad attitude. This experience has left us reconsidering our frequent visits to this place.
The food was ok. Definitely not the wow factor as others have commented. Service was in EXTREME slow motion, took too long to get order taken and served, plus missed serving the appetizers prior meal. This was Sunday, not too busy, just disorganized. Went, not returning.Parking: Use parking lot if not full. Beats going around looking for a spot.
Ordered food to go. The place looked great so I was very optimistic but when I opened my order at home I was very disappointed. The 2 papusas I ordered were smashed because they were stuffed into a small box so there was cheese everywhere. Packaging needs to be better. I ordered 3 meals and asked for white rice and beans for 2 meals and 1 with french fries. Highly upset, one order of beans were missing and the fries was literally a small handful in a small box. The rice was soaked in the juices of the meat so the rice was very soggy to eat. It was a waste of $86 for 3 meals. My children did not want to eat the food. As a working mom with 2 young children, food is very expensive and to spend this amount of money and get this type of quality, I was highly disappointed. I should of called to get my money back.

Come here ready to eat!!! Everything we ordered was delicious without any complaints. If you have a large party it takes a minute to prepare every dish but the food comes out fresh at the same time.Food: 5/5
