Rose Joes Italian Bakery - Astoria

My husband loves their pizza, and I believe they have the best Cannolis in the 5 boroughs. I have tried all the famous Italian bakeries in Manhattan and Brooklyn, but I think Rose and Joe's Cannolis are the best. Many others are too sweet for my taste, but Rose and Joe's have a refreshing flavor.

Rose Joe's Bakery is well-known for their square Sicilian-style pizza slices, as well as their Italian cookies, cannoli, cakes, and pies. My spouse and I recently visited and purchased two square pizza slices, two round Neapolitan slices, four Mini Cannoli, and a grated apple pie. The bakery does not offer dine-in options, so we took our food to go. The square pizza slices were delicious, with a crispy crust and a flavorful sauce made from ripe tomatoes. The round slices were also tasty, with cheesy toppings and the same delicious sauce. We both give Rose Joe's pizza a thumbs up. The Mini Cannoli received mixed reviews - I enjoyed the filling, but found the cannoli shell to be too fragile. The apple pie was better than most store-bought options, likely because it is made without any additives for added durability. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Rose Joe's Bakery and will definitely be returning in the future.

This place is a must-visit! I come here almost every day for their amazing selection of cookies. They also have the best bread in all of Astoria!
