Japanese servers: goodInterior: goodSo I thought food must be nice.ButFood: worst Japanese food in NYI’ve been to more than 100 Japanese restaurants in NYC. This one is the worst one. The reason I gave 2stars not one star is I hope their food gets better. Please. I was so excited for this restaurant. View all feedback.
An elevated sushi restaurant with very attentive waitstaff. Great spot to go with friends and split the sushi or sashimi platters. The spicy tuna roll at Kondo is hands down my favorite and although it might be off menu, ask for the fish collar with ponzu sauce which is simple and delicious.

A welcoming staff and ever-changing and delicious menu of both cooked and raw Japsnese delights make Kondo a delight. For a special experience, sit at the indoor sushi counter, or at the outdoor (enclosed) bar.Food: 5/5
