31 Stop Deli - Astoria

My friend lives around the corner and recommended this place. Looks like a normal deli but this place has amazing nachos and tacos! Also serves late night. Staff is super friendly! Will come back!

Best kept secret in Astoria, even late nights I can get a sandwich and never lacking in flavor for the past 2 decades

Great place for quick grabs. BLT was 8/10 for breakfast (add avocado to upgrade it) Cuban sandwich was a 6/10, warm and tasty. Pork was a little dry though. Flan was nice and fell within the range of deli flan quality standards. Will probably order as an add on next time I get delivery, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. This place is exceptional at being what a neighborhood corner deli should be. Their range of options is good too considering the size of the place.

This deli gets three stars due to its cleanliness, assortment of vegan products and generally professional staff. However, the purpose of this review is to alert modern thinkers the dangers of shopping here other than per immediate necessities. While, I stopped there for a few quick grocery needs, I overheard two k-9 cops with the NYPD, possibly Ryker 's division referring to a white gay customer as a white fag due to his lifestyle. I was alarmed by such commentary that I alerted the cashier nonchalantly about the matter for fear that the cops were becoming increasingly aggressive in their harassment. They told me they could care less as it 's not their concern. But, if something were to have happened then it would be their concern. Again, steer clear of this place unless it 's a last-minute emergency grocery purchase. I as a customer was thoroughly offended by the overall atmosphere of this deli.

The food is nothing short of impressive. Located near the Americana you can park in the structure and get your ticket validated. We came here for Valentine's Day dinner and they offer a preset menu of choices for this day.As you are seated, they really pay attention to the details with your choice of black or white linen for your napkin. With candle lit tables, they also have impressive live music with the piano player. It sets a great atmosphere for a great evening.
