Pragmatically they placed us in a... read more It is a year or so since we ate at Ibo, but last Sunday evening we arrived unannounced with dog in tow to find the place busy! Pragmatically they placed us in a quiet corner, provided the menu and let us be. We are quite particular about our sushi and strongly resist any temptation to go for ‘set menus’. So our order was quite specific, and while at times service was a tad slow, the cirashi and sushi were rather good – has their sushi chef changed? If so please keep him – he is good! Ignore the ‘all you can eat offer’ etc., go alla carte and enjoy (if needs be drink green tea to reduce the bill). About €70-75 for two hungry/greedy people (though more if your dog likes sushi). A few minutes’ drive from Asti Ovest, parking can readily be found on Corso Torino.
