Absolutely fantastic! A hotel that isn't overly polished and pristine. Everything is very harmonious. The event that happened to be taking place was a perfect fit. Good, attentive staff. You can tell it's owner-operated.

We received a very friendly welcome... read more The hotel recently underwent new ownership. Our concerns about older, critical reviews were therefore fortunately unfounded. We received a very friendly welcome, and the service was extremely warm and accommodating. The rooms are in classic Rheingau vintage style. However, for the price, it was perfectly acceptable, and everything was very clean. We had a room facing the Rhine with a beautiful view, and we could easily sleep with the window open. Breakfast was also decent. There was a small buffet with fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, and various cold cuts. Parking was easy in a free lot around the corner. The train station is just a few steps away, so we were able to take the train to Rüdesheim in the evening. Overall, it was a very nice stay. We would love to come back!

The o... read more Since June 2025, the hotel has been under new management – a well-known artist couple has taken over, and this has had a positive impact in every respect. The old reviews about service, etc., no longer apply, because everything has truly changed. The hotel is beautifully situated directly on the Rhine, with a fantastic panoramic terrace. The new hosts run the hotel with a lot of heart, personality, and incredibly friendly service. You are welcomed here like you would by good friends: warm, open, and with genuine hospitality. We had our child and dog with us – they have rarely been so warmly looked after. The breakfast is generous and fresh, with something for everyone. The rooms are very clean. We are already looking forward to returning soon, once the planned renovations are complete. Everything will be beautiful (again) – you can already feel it. Highly recommended!
