Pic-Nic was only a short walk on the same... read more We went there on the recommendation of the place we were staying in Assisi, well, just outside Assisi at Il Girasole. Pic-Nic was only a short walk on the same road. We went there early for dinner. Italians eat much later. The place had indoor and outdoor eating and we chose indoor because at the time no one was outside. Inside the place was quite elegant. The name Pic-Nic did not suggested that. However we were very pleased with the set up, the food, service and price. Food was Italian and good, portion quite large and prices adequate. The service was attentive and polite if not quick, even because the place got crowded with time and many people to serve. When we left, to my surprise, even the outdoor that was empty when we went in, was now crowded with young people having pizza and having fun. A place I would certainly recommend for the ambiance and the food.

A... read more A great dining experience with friendly staff and great food. All of our meals were exceptional and the range of beverages left us with plenty to choose from. As we are Australians travelling through Italy it was nice to eat alfresco into the night surrounded by local Italians.
