Having said that, I found no fault with the food ordered by my table, but none of it rose to the level of exceptional. The pasta carbonara, the pasta arrabiata, the veal, and the rack of lamb was good but truthfully, I have had better. The ambiance is on the dark side with ornate chairs at each table. Service was minimal supplied by a young lady who was kepy busy by about ten diners in the dining room. As soon as you sit down at table, you owe 2.50 Euros per person it's a cover charge for the tableware. (There is a nearby restaurant with a similar menu without a cover charge. You can do better in Assisi.

Do yourself a favour and dine here!
