It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the... read more We had a great time at the River Crab on 4th of July. The weather was spectacular so we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a serene setting. Our waitress was attentive and met all our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and I have been spreading the word about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a big plus. We hope to come back for a sailboat ride and lunch now that is being offered during the week.

We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!

Walking around the old gym, looking at the pictures and books is such a unique, nostalgicatmosphere.

Doug, our server, was personable and wou... read more When we arrived at the Renaissance Cafe, the exterior immediately charmed. The atmosphere inside was cozy and eclectic. Doug, our server, was personable and would have been fun to have join our party as a member. He was knowledgeable and considerate. Thechef in the kitchen with his farm/garden to table knows his stuff. Not a single scrap was left on any plate. The food,atmosphere and service were well worth the cost of the meal.
