Nello Alpine - ASPEN

Nice decor, a lot of tables squeezed in. Bread was stale and they didn't have anymore to replace it. No music for ambience just listening to other diners talk when they did turn on some music it was more loud bar/club music not appropriate for dining. Service was very slow even though the restaurant only had 2 other tables. Food was only fair. Hope they can pick it up to a higher standard.

Everyone in our party would agree that it was the worst service we have ever experienced. We had 6:30 p.m. reservation and didn't get seated until after 7 p.m. The staff didn't know each other. They were confused and extremely unorganized. The bartender didn't know what alcohol he had. One person in our party ordered the special. The server did not mention it was $275. Absurd. Instead of apologizing, he was condescending and said we should have know based on the ingredients. I would not recommend this restaurant until they have been open for a few more months.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Definitely , but the ambiance and gorgeous setting fit the tab. Was a bit disappointed to be charged 100 extra for champagne we had not ordered and incorrect pricing on the wine-by-the-glass order, but the error was corrected tactfully- And it was practically their first opening night, so probably par For the course. The barman -both the original look and the ability- is superb. Overall highly recommend.
