I would highly recommend this restaurant as a great value in Aspen. The food was quite good, and it offered nice opportunities for people-watching. We would definitely return when we're back in town! View all feedback.
What F A doesn't like about Brunelleschi's:
The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired, and the tables were quite dirty. I suspect the subpar service is a result of the mandatory gratuity. There are so many great restaurants in Aspen that I probably won't be coming back here. View all feedback.
This small, enjoyable restaurant/bar is a perfect spot for watching sports while relishing tasty pizza, meatballs, salads, and cocktails. With its friendly and accommodating staff, it was a standout choice for multiple visits during our trip.
I have been here before a few years back but decided to visit again. The place and the atmosphere is amazing and the servers were perfectly attentive. The food is delicious, and the price is alright. They do bring the food out rather hastily, so this might not be the best place if you want to chat while waiting for a meal. The portions are huge, do not be fooled into thinking that you'd manage a 3 course meal, stick to just a starter and a main course only.
Locals recommended this restaurant but when reading the reviews we were unsure of it. We were happy with all of our meals. We stuck to the pasta, no pizza. Bruschetta app, shrimp linguini, pesto fettuccine, Greek salad, and chicken Parmesan. All good. Red sauce lacked some flavor. But happy with our choices. Service was also good and quick.
I went to bar solo and ended up sitting next to the owner. He had the chefs make me a dish that was not on the menu. This was the best shrimp scampi/linguini I have ever had. It was amazing and all of the employees were so sweet. I am so grateful for my experience.
Hard PASS on this place! The pizza is basically a burrito shell with some cheese and maybe a little sauce on it. Not much flavor and definitely NOT worth the prices. Yes, it 's A$pen, but we expect something better than this. The REAL issue is the service. The wait staff would literally rather stand around talking to each other and playing paddy cake clapping games than wait on the customers! Our waiter clearly lost interest when we weren 't going to have a large bill including drinks and never once checked on how we were doing, never refilled our glasses, and eventually got us our bill. HOWEVER, he took it upon himself to alter the tip amount to get to 20% AFTER I signed the receipt for much less and we left!!! THAT IS ILLEGAL! To the restaurant 's credit, they did credit the overcharged amount back to my card, BUT never once asked who the waiter was and basically laughed when I noted the problem and that I wanted the amount credited. I tried calling several times to speak with the manager and that person was never around. I was also told that the waiter likely lost the ticket and just added 20% automatically. It was said so easily and matter of fact that it sounded like a common excuse. Not wanting to look up the receipt or asking who the waiter was.....WOW!$5 on a few tables each night over several nights and suddenly that 's not a bad self-imposed pay increase every month! Had this same thing happen at another chain restaurant years ago and have never been back to any of the chain 's stores since. PAY ATTENTION to your credit card statement!
