We frequent their sister restaurant Izakaya in Carbondale and wanted to entertain a group of Aspen friends in Aspen and chose Kenichi. We made a great choice and our table enjoyed very 3 hours of great foods, excellent sake recommendations by CHRIS, and a lovely low key Japanese accent on our time together. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Always fantastic, been going to Kenichi since it opened and it has never disappointed us. Thanks to the whole crew.
We have previously dined here and enjoyed delicious food and service. This trip was a table of 6. The food was of the usual quality. The service was slow to none existent. We received our appetizers in a timely manner. After that we had to ask to have water refilled and plates cleared. It took over an hour and a half to receive any rolls that we ordered and it was still slow when we asked for someone to check on our food. It is such a disappointment what has happed to aspen restaurants since the pandemic. So many have closed and the remaining restaurants are terribly expensive and the service is sub par.
