In my opinion, the service was lacking; I noticed at least three employees on duty, yet there were no customers at the time. It seems like there’s a lack of motivation in today’s workforce. These fast-food workers expect higher pay, which I find puzzling. Moreover, when they are able to prepare food or fulfill orders, it’s often incorrect.

After trying... read more I visited the Dunkin' location on W Prospect Rd in Ashtabula, Ohio, on 09/05/22. I waited at the speaker for 5-8 minutes without anyone responding. After trying to get their attention, I pulled forward to the window, thinking there might be a problem with the speaker since there were cars ahead of me. Eventually, an employee came to the window and informed me they were actually closed for the day. There was no apology or explanation given for the early closure, whether due to the holiday or another reason. When I mentioned that several cars behind me believed they were open, the employee responded with, "Well, I guess I’ll have to go out and tell them," which felt very unprofessional and poorly handled. There was no notice online or posted on the doors or menu about a change in hours for Monday. Additionally, they often seem to be out of many items when I order, even when I come early in the day—not just right before closing—so I’m not sure why they run out so quickly.
