Yet, despite its current condition, the mall still possesses significant potential. Its prime location and ample parking make it an accessible spot for shoppers, and the existing businesses are well-regarded within the community. With some revitalization efforts and a few new tenants, this mall could revive into a bustling hub once more. However, it appears unlikely that this will ever come to fruition.

Now, walking in feels sad and depressing.

While there aren’t many stores left, th... read more I’m giving the Ashtabula Mall a 5-star rating because I have a personal bias; I’ve been visiting since my teenage years. While there aren’t many stores left, the ones that remain are fantastic. The movie theater is excellent, and most of the arcade games are free to play, which is a big plus. I can’t resist stopping by Pretzel Time, and Buy Sell Trade has an impressive selection of movies, albums, games, action figures, and collectibles. Plus, the staff there is amazing!
