The Kennington - Ashford

In kennington carvery many paintings in the run of the years this was the worst visit iw had. for table of eight. the restaurant was busy for this time, they had booked a lot of large tables. parking lot very busy we just got over. room other in group could not park inside. regarding the service, it was slow staff that was just looking for miserable. eat slowly at the arrival the person cut meat stand on the bar talk with people while forming a great wait queue

Second visit in two weeks. Thought I'd try something different..rustic fish pie...with no prawn, hunted under lashings of mash and sauce for the fish that was very minimal. My partner had carvery...roasties were overdone, carrots underdone and rest of veg wasn't hot. His pint of...spitfire was also flat. Overall, disappointed today and won't be back for a while

This place used to be very good. Went last weekend and gone off with plates and food cold. Parsnips to hard to eat, not much meat given. Sweets were OK, but expensive

All staff wearing face masks but still pleasant and helpful good selection of meats and veg access to carvery easy we had coke but good selection of drinks

We have had a couple of Sunday roasts delivered to our door now and each time they’ve been delivered on time, by courteous drivers, food still steaming hot and very tasty. This restaurant gets a thumbs up from the whole family. The portions are very...generous, the service has been The only criticism I could have is that the pastry on the vegetarian pie today (mushroom and leek) was undercooked and inedible which was a little disappointing but really everything else was so delicious, I’d heartily recommend this restaurant as I’m sure this was just an oversight because it’s obvious there is great attention to detail and they really care about what they are producing. Will definitely recommend the Sunday carvery to friends.
