The steak and garlic mashed potatoes were very good. The salad was fresh and served in a bowl that was slightly too small. All portions were generous and only thing I see is they could use more help. View all feedback.
What Erick Arroyo doesn't like about Woodfire Grille:
We arrived on time for our dinner reservation and waited about 15 minutes before we took the initiative to ask about getting seated or service in general. There was only ONE wait staff on duty who was covering the bar and the two seating areas. Not what we expected when we made reservations. We spoke to the wait staff and told her we had reservations but were not going to stay due to the situation and she was fine wi... View all feedback.
A beautiful, an ultimately gorgeous little get away, the rooms are immaculate and clean. And the restaurant there is just amazing. So amazing that I wanted to work there to get a taste of what else they served. And I am blown away by how expertly everything is crafted and the ingredients used. Very delicious food staff is excellent and kind I would have taken a picture of my 12oz new York strip steak but it was so delicious I inhaled it Kid-friendliness: They have chicken tenders for kids and sweet potatoes fries my kids chewed them up
Wanted a sit down meal after riding all day. There were 6 of us at the table. There was only people at 2 other tables. So they weren't busy. Our waitress had the attitude that we were mot wanted there. We all got got separate tickets. We went to pay for my meal I noticed she put a 20% charge on there. I asked her what it was. She said they charge 20% for 6 or more. I told her we all are paying separate and she said it don't matter. To top it off the food was way over priced and not very good. We all agreed we will not return.
Went in with 2 other couples on Tuesday, July 2nd at 7pm, after a long motorcycle ride. The waitress acted like we were an inconvenience even though there were only 4 other people in the restaurant when we arrived. The waitress took one drink order at a time we were charged an 18% gratuity for a party of 6 even though we had 3 separate bills. Decent portions but expensive the wait staff should have a better attitude. We won't be back!
Made a reservation online and when we got there we were told we couldn’t be sat. Even though the entire restaurant was empty. They told us there was a large party that had just walked in and they had to prepare for them. We asked if we could just at least sit and start with some soup or something until we could be taken care of and was told no. So disappointed because we had driven there from Knoxville Tennessee (2 hour drive) on father’s day and my husband really wanted some French onion soup and steak. We were fine with waiting a bit for some good food but even the party told us they were leaving too because they were told they couldn’t accommodate that many people. I work in the restaurant industry and can’t believe the level of lack of service to be provided! So sad that I couldn’t give my husband the Father’s Day dinner he wanted after such a long drive! We will never dine there and i hope service improves because without customers there is no restaurant.
