Such good food! We came in at midnight after a long drive and got 2 breakfast meals with eggs, hash browns, toast, a waffle, bacon, and biscuits in gravy with jelly. The chefs were so good! Our waitresses were very friendly. There is a security gaurd there 24/7.It was such a huge meal and under $20. It's very convenient for guests of the hotels down the street. What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
During this pandemic, it's one of the few places open, but my experience was far from pleasant. I witnessed the chef drop two sausages on the floor. He looked around to see if anyone noticed, and then quickly picked them up from a greasy mat and put them back on the grill. He then proceeded to serve those same sausages to a customer. If I remember correctly, the sanitation rating was 87, but it should have been aroun... View all feedback.
We drove a few days to asheville and outside the hotel was a waffle house. I usually call them "awful waffle" as all my previous experiences to other places have always left me that I don't eat in a waffle house for months. that was not the case at this point. the restaurant and the facilities were clean, eating fresh, and the staff was amazing. not only could you say that the team had fun at work, but they were some of the nicest people. our waitress tonya was so sweet, and the manager tabitha made her round often to make sure that her hospitable experience was top notch, and the experience did not stop when we came back the next day. we were greeted as if we came to tabitha reminded us to see the previous ones and make sure we knew that we were not just another. we had the same waitress tonya. I was told by the simple thing that she knew what we drank and ate on the day before. this height of the customer service was notable and rare to find. in any case will return and recommend to anyone who takes a fast meal.

Went on my 30 minute lunch break to grab a simple order- crispy triple hash brown topped with bacon. There were four tables seated (two already eating) and three to go's between two servers, the three to go's being orders for individual people, not groups. The servers were touching the food going on the grill without washing their hands, and if you know WH you know that servers also do the dishes. It took 20 minutes for my hash browns to go on the grill, the bacon must have been sitting for a while because I didn't see them put it on or take it off. Three minutes after my hash browns were on the grill they were placed in the container, soggy. The server crumbled up the bacon by hand and tossed it on. I was charged $8 for a $6 order that wasn't even correct, and when I went to eat my food I discovered over a dozen onions and a few mushrooms in it- both of which I hate. I've not had good experiences with this location in the past but to take up my whole lunch break for the fastest cooked items on the whole menu, give me a wrong order, and charge me extra, is ridiculous. Go here if you want unsanitary food and to be up charged for incorrect orders after waiting half an hour
The employees that were working were really considerate and kind, and food was cooked thoroughly. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.
