amazing. what you expect. the most dinge on the menu to test and was very impressed. the pork bell was a top! mushrooms in everything! fantastic chefs make themselves thought to blow dishes. Don't miss them! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ukiah:
the service was simply clumsy and not well informed. Bar service slowly bc the barkeepers are so concentrated on the “art” it takes too long to actually get a simple cocktail. and the restaurant describes some dishes that should have heat (hamachi with serranos, spicy pork tan tan) and not only no seasoned, they are under seasoned. but overall was good, especially the gyoza and ripen. Food was good. Just not impressed. Very small portion for the price tag. Keep in mind this is an American Chef taking on Japanese cuisine if you are looking authenticity this may not be the place for you. Also, No Parking!
Incredibly personal, knowledgeable and helpful server. everyone who actually came in contact was wonderful. eating was exquisite. will be recommended and back.
Our server was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. Our family really enjoyed the food. The mushroom bao and pork bao were delicious! My husband and I enjoyed the cocktail recipes.
Overall a fantastic experience at Ukiah. First time there, and we were very impressed with the food and the service. Hands-down the best service in quite some time. the food exceeded our expectations. The ribs were cooked to perfection and melted in one’s mouth. Really enjoyed the spicy pork Ramen and the wagyu potsticker. Overall a lovely meal with great company and an interesting space. Thanks Ukiah.
Incredible experience! Ukiah was a highlight of our trip to Asheville. Our server, Jill, was awesome she made sure we didn't over order and gave us tips on her favorite items. The sweet potato, Wagyu skewers, and karaage chicken were outstanding. Cocktails were a great addition and the bartender was willing to make an unlisted cocktail for one of our party. The desserts were not very memorable but the rest of the experience more than made up for it. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, can't say enough great things about Ukiah!
