Typhoon Noodle - Asheville

A great casual restaurant that consistently provides great food with fast and friendly service! I have visited here quite a few times, either dining in or drive-thru.The dining room offers a nice mix of table booth seating. It’s also tastefully decorated with a great chalk art back wall.You order food up front and then it is brought to your table. A well stocked condiment bar provides many ways of personalizing flavors for your dish.This time I was craving comfort food and selected the Shrimp Udon Soup. It came with a medley of fresh vegetables of which I was allowed to make changes according to my diet preferences. Much appreciated!!! This dish just became one of my favorites! The broth was flavorful without tasting overly salted. A generous amount of noodles and veggies rounded out the shrimp. This is a dish I will also look forward to when winter arrives.Thank you for the great experience every time! And, l also appreciate that MSG products are not used, or added to the dishes here!Dietary restrictions: The staff is always helpful when asking about specific ingredients in dishes. They have always been accommodating in subbing out different veggies in dishes.

Had a great experience at Typhoon Noodle! Ordered the Wonton Soup appetizer, it was delicious. Also ordered the Spring rolls and the Chicken Lo Mein- They were both classic! Mango Boba Tea with Milk base was just what I wanted!

I had to give Typhoon Noodle 5 stars because it was inexpensive, fast, and delicious. The sesame chicken was the best I ever tasted. The crispy shell was perfectly light and crispy. The portions were a healthy size for the cost. One of the big deals for me was the little but important details. Like using clay or glassware when serving hot soups. Even their spoons are made of clay. It irks me when I have to eat soup from plastic at other restaurants. They also have a great Boba selection and a very wheelchair accessible environment. We have been caring for our MIL who is wheelchair bound, and there were a few tables at Typhoon Noodle that could handle a wheelchair parked at the perfect length and height. Conveniently located near our favorite movie theater. Definitely coming back to try other dishes! We received whiplash looking at people's plates!Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room in the restaurant that we could park our mom's wheelchair directly at the table. A few tables were shaped to where we were able to park a wheelchair perfectly.

We came by here for dinner on a Saturday night. You order at the counter, drinks are self-serve, then you take your number to your table and they bring your food out to you. We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer. Since they bring the food out, I expected the appetizer to come out with our meals. But they had them out not long after we selected our table. The pot stickers were delicious! My husband had the Pho Noodle Soup and I had the Singapore Curry Rice Noodle with Shrimp. Both meals were very good. The people working here were extremely friendly and the service was very efficient. They also cleared our plates for us from the table. The portions were plentiful. We will definitely eat here again when we’re in the Asheville area.
