The Tall Tales burger received high praise, with one guest declaring it the best they've had in a while. While some had mixed experiences with the ambience and service, others found the staff to be friendly and attentive. The menu may be limited, but the food quality was generally good, with a few exceptions like lukewarm meals and tasteless sides. Prices were seen as somewhat steep by some, but overall, it seems like a decent option for a meal out while in Asheville.
Great food and amazing service. we will definitely come back!
I had no idea that this restaurant was in the hilton hotel. After we left the restaurant, I noticed on google about 6 listing that it was in the hotel. the ambiente was very moderate. that was terrible! I've got the trout, and it was soou overcooked. the brussel sprouts were so charred from the roasting that they seemed as if they were praying from a fire! I would not recommend this place to have dinner! btw, I have booked on open table. it asked if there was a special occasion. it happened as my men birthday, and it was never recognized by the waiting staff.
We have selected this restaurant by great reviews. we were not disappointed, the lunch was very good. it was very quiet as it was after lunch on a weekday. we chose the smoked trout spread appetizer quite a large portion (top for a escape for one,) so good! it came with rosemary crackers and plucked wobbles that were the perfect companion. my man chose the burger with sweet potato friries. it was cooked on its request, tender, juicy, delicious. the sweet potato friars were some of the best we ever had. I added the rocket salad with roasted chicken. salat was wonderfully fresh, simple enough dressing, and the fried chicken was excellent crispy, but delicately moist. service was good, though it either seemed distracted or new? very nice in any case, it didn't hurt eating! next time we'll come back in this area of asheville.
The food was good but they were out of a lot of the spirits.
Let me tell you when I booked this resy, I had no idea it was in the Hilton. I was a little reticent at first, but was pleasantly surprised! The service, food, wine, dessert, etc was delicious! I had the trout with summer squash and Brussels sprouts and it was yummy! The arugula salad was amazing as was the chocolate ganache cake! Don’t let this hotel restaurant fool you. It’s a little hidden gem so close to where I live, I’ll definitely be back.
