Papa's Beer Mexican - Asheville

Very loud, and super busy, almost chaotic, but good experience

We had the California burrito.....it was full of meat and delicious. There was also a salsa bar, which we had not known, with a nice variety of tasty salsas. Only downside was that the beer prices were a bit high.

Had a nice lunch with friends. Food was very fresh.

Very upset with the management at this location. I ordered my meal and specifically stated and waiter repeated the order no zucchini or bell pepper. Food came out had both so he nicely returned it to the kitchen and asked to be remade correctly. This waiter was very nice but got yelled at continuously. Second plate was identical to the first. I told manager of the issue and that I could not wait for a third attempt as I had to go to work. That I was very unhappy. But I dug out the wrong item and ate the remainder of the food. I asked manager to refill my tea and he responded with boy your just not happy today. Then when my.check came it stated one price, at check out I was charged a second price. He (being the manager) was extremely RUDE...he was yelling orders across the restaurant to the staff. I will NOT be back there again.

A family favorite and a great place to bring guests! The menu has something for everyone and simply …. The food and fast service is just great!
