Montford deli has a huge variety of items on their menu and my boyfriend and I intend to try them all! Today we started with the Philly and the Reuben. Both were excellent! The bread was toasted perfectly and they even had gluten free! I had the potato salad which was classic and tasted like Grandma's! The seasoned fries were perfect. The dining area and bathrooms were impeccably clean...Great work MD!Dietary restrict... View all feedback.
What MandoMtn doesn't like about Montford Deli:
Good Reuben, no doubt. Not great though which I would have expected for the price they charged. This is not a one place (misrepresented online) but a . Paid 37 for two sandwiches, one fry one tiny cobbler and one drink. Atmosphere was mediocre and the help was condescending. Gave the food 4, service 3, and atmosphere a 3. View all feedback.

I recently visited Montford Deli, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The service was excellent, and the sandwiches were truly fantastic. Everything about this place is top-notch, making it the best spot in Asheville for a delightful meal. Highly recommended!
The bison burger i got was incredible, mushrooms tasted fresh, fries and okra were seasoned well. Reasonably priced menu, 10/10 will definitely be
We went here for dinner and ate on the patio. My husband had the Elk burger which he really enjoyed. I had the pastrami sandwich which was good. The berry cobbler was terrible even though they said it was fresh baked. I would recommend Montford Deli for sandwiches but skip the dessert.
It's a very nostalgic kind of place, they had a veggie burger it was Beyond or Impossible, I do not remember) great fries and a delicious banana pudding, exactly the kind of dinner I was wanting and the young folks working there were just delightful.Vegetarian options: They had a veggie burger, it is an old time independent burger kind of place and I wasn't looking for healthy food today, I wanted to experience this place and having a veggie burger I felt was a welcome accommodation and I now wished I had tried the onion rings.
