There was only one vegan option available, but it was absolutely delicious. You can add vegan cheese to other dishes for an additional $2, which is reasonable for the portion size, though not for the flavor. The cook confirmed that the fries are vegan, as well as another item that is listed as vegetarian on the menu. View all feedback.
What Matt Phillips doesn't like about Manicomio Pizza Food:
I ordered the spaghetti Alfredo with "roasted chicken," but it was completely devoid of salt or flavor. The chicken seemed as if it was simply boiled. When I brought this up with the waitress, she suggested I could just add salt to it. I usually avoid salty foods, but this pasta was so tasteless that it was hard to believe. I'm genuinely disappointed as I had high hopes for this place. And don't even get me started o... View all feedback.
**Food: 4.5 Stars** **Price:** I ordered takeout, so I can't comment much on the restaurant's atmosphere. However, if you're planning to pick up your order, be mindful that parking can be a challenge in this area, so keep an eye out for available spots on the street! The portion size is decent but not particularly large; as you can see in the picture, they mostly filled the bottom of the container. The food itself was good. I tried the eggplant parmesan, which was tasty, although I found it a bit on the salty side, which seems to be a trend in this area's cuisine. But at this point, I don't think that's the restaurant's fault.

Maniciomos probably offers the most delicious pizza in Asheville, featuring a variety of great vegan cheese options. My only concern is that after adding all the vegan toppings, a pizza can cost up to $40, which feels a bit pricey due to the extra charges for the vegan toppings. That being said, it’s absolutely delicious when you can splurge on it!
This restaurant features the fantastic Be-Hive mozzarella, which is truly delicious. The atmosphere is lively and reminiscent of a New York City pizzeria, with casual and quirky decor throughout. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This place has a great opportunity to offer the best vegan pizza in Asheville. While their sauce and crust are tasty, the Ashvegan pizza could use a makeover to enhance its flavor. Overall, it’s pretty good, but I’d love to see them offer a vegan parmesan option as well! Fantastic pizza and delicious pasta! Everything here is absolutely amazing, and I'm really glad my mom dropped me off so I could spend time with my friends and enjoy such tasty food. The fried ravioli is especially incredible, but be careful because it’s very hot—otherwise, you might end up with a tongue full of molten cheese. Check out the last photo of me indulging in all the ravioli by myself, because sometimes I just don't feel like sharing!
