Fun night filled with cocktails and good food. The Snapper Fried Whole Fish was DELICIOUS, great presentation and cooked perfectly. Always a good time at Edisons and the views are breaking.

Edison Omni Grove was simultaneously wonderful and disappointing. The setting is a gorgeous room with a gorgeous backdrop. The service is fast and friendly, shout out to our server James who was extremely kind and carried such a wonderful energy. The menu has a solid variety of food options and a plethora of adult beverages to please your palate. Here's what we ordered, Nobles seasonal cider and (forgot name) a specialty drinks take on an old fashioned. Nobles Cider, fantastic. The old fashioned, my wife immediately ordered another drink, and the Moscow mule she ended up with she loved. My wife's description of her first drink is that it tasted like chewing on an orange peel. It was immediately exchanged and we were only charged for the one drink. The food, the brussel sprouts were ok. It's one of our favorite appetizers to order at various restaurants and comparatively it fell quite short. They were slightly undercooked to our liking in some bites where we were really getting our chewing on to crunch through them. The flavor didn't mesh well for us and seemed imbalanced as each bite brought an inconsistent experience of chewing or flavor profile. The main dishes: Bison meatloaf was great, cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The parsnip and lettuce leaves that also came on the plate were lacking flavor and seasoning. I could tell with each bite I needed just slightly more of whatever was in it, to really make it shine. The salmon, once again cooked perfectly, what we found interesting is that the salmon itself didn't appear to be seasoned and relied solely on the pepper jelly for flavor. My wife would have preferred more of the pepper jelly if that is intentionally the case. The broccoli side she had she loved and wished there was more. There was a very lovely parsnip puree on her plate that also left her wanting more. That is where the problem really was for her, is that after her meal and half the appetizer she was still hungry. Our snooping eyes looked at other diners and comparatively the salmon and the meatloaf appeared to be the loneliest on their plates. So that may be something to consider. We opted against dessert as their 3 options didn't inspire us. Overall we had a nice time with a decent meal. The price of the meals do factor in here to the overall rating. It's expensive, not unreasonably though and with choosing options accordingly you can keep the cost down. That said with what we ordered, compared to other places we've been in the same price range, it fell short. If we lived in the area we would want to try again as there are moments in these dishes that had our attention. We shall see, and if we do I'll be sure to update my review.
Tonight was our second time to eat here. beautiful view and excellent customer service. it is a small menu, but enough options to select something big for each taste. the bison meat is a must. we ordered the market fish (sea bass) as well as the new hot hook pulled chicken sandwich. they offer fresh aromas and a large selection of local brews. I recommend it very much!
