I visit every time I go to Asheville. It is a must stop in my itinerary. A friend and I ordered 6 different tapas plates to share and it was more than enough. I always order the Boquerones tapas. Delicious! View all feedback.
What Anthony Tridico doesn't like about Cúrate:
I really don’t know what to say about Curate other than it is the most over rated restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff and facilities are very nice but the quality of food across 6 dishes, including desert was of such sub par quality that I just can’t accept this was an off night. Foodies beware of the inflated reviews. View all feedback.
I mean everyone knows about this one of the top restaurants in Asheville, but I'll still throw my 2 cents in. I went with a large party of 8, and it was one of my top tapas experiences ever. Large variety of options, and our server (I sadly forgot her name! was super helpful in recommending options and portions so we could all share. I'd highly recommend the scallops and the peppers with goat cheese if they are on the menu, but everything is delicious. My friends had a couple bottles of Spanish reds they really enjoyed, and I had their gin and tonic special which was refreshing and perfect for the summer night we went. We split the check and ended up close to $80 per person, which honestly was extremely worth it. Going as a large group we were able to try most of their menu plus have drinks without going over $100 individually. If you do go as a large group, ask for the table by the front window, it's worth it. Vegetarian options: They will help you pick suitable options. Servers are extremely knowledgeable. Dietary restrictions: A lot of seafood options for pescetarians as well.
Thank you, Curate, for making our 5th wedding anniversary so special! Favorite dishes were the Spanish mackerel special and the mushrooms This was a fun and delicious experience! Parking: The Biltmore lot down the street is free the first hour and $2 for ever hour after! Wheelchair accessibility: The street outside and restaurant appear to be very accessible! One side of the restaurant has steps up and the other sides doesn’t, so keep that in mind when making reservations. Bathrooms were also large!

My friends have been recommending this place for a while, and now that I’ve been there, I can confirm that all the hype is justified. I would definitely go back.
Our wait staff was phenomenal. She knew the menu like the back of her hand. She had wonderful and thoughtful recommendations. I will definitely go back to Cutate next time I am in Ashville.
