The food was delicious! The entrees were fresh and surprisingly light and you could really taste the ingredients. The service was okay. Our server was very nice just not very attentive. Didn't really check on us after we ordered and didn't see them until they were asking if we wanted dessert. Just felt slightly ignored, so that was a little disappointing. Would want to go back eventually though, to try again! View all feedback.
This restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying a fantastic dinner. The wine selection was excellent, with a nice variety that wasn't overwhelming. We ordered the pasta with red sauce and beef, and I appreciated the use of beef in the dish; the sauce was outstanding. My son-in-law chose the veal ravioli, which was a special and absolutely delicious. My daughter had the pesto pasta, and she enjoyed it as well. The desserts were incredible; we tried the chocolate peppermint ice cream and the lemon balm mascarpone cake. The ice cream was great, but the cake was truly exceptional. We will definitely be back to this place!
Many restaurants today prioritize convenience for their staff over the comfort of their customers, but Chiesa has carefully considered every detail. The bread served with oil and vinegar comes out at just the right moment, and the waitstaff is knowledgeable without being intrusive. The menu has a diverse selection that caters to all diners. As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find suitable options, but I almost always order the pesto with angel hair pasta. It surprises me each time, and I loved the addition of pistachios on my last visit—it was the most flavorful pesto I've ever had! I also enjoyed an espresso martini and can highly recommend both that and the limoncello martini; it tasted just like lemon cake—absolutely sublime. So if you're looking for a truly comprehensive dining experience, make a reservation at Chiesa—you won't be disappointed.
I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting—all at an affordable price. It was just the perfect evening. We tried many dishes, and I particularly loved the house-made spinach and cheese-filled ravioli. However, the seared scallops and the hickory nut-crusted tenderloin were the family favorites. The house Caesar salad was spot on, and even our picky eater enjoyed the homemade pasta with meatballs. The whispers were delightful, and my dish was so easy to eat that it almost fell off the plate. The bread pudding received several votes, but the chocolate pot de crème was the ultimate winner. I will definitely be returning to this charming restaurant!
Rarely give 5 stars. best pasta and tomatengravie and I was in michelin restaurants all over the world. my wife got the pasta with the tomato sauce and I think kokosmilch .
We went to chiesa on recommendation of a friend when we were in asheville, and we can't thank her enough! the restaurant feels like a cozy, neighboring bistro. the homemade pasta and sauces were really divine, and or server loves his job clearly. next time we'll go back to asheville.
