We went in today after we had a swim and wow so yummy all 6 of us enjoyed our food , you could tell it was made with love ! also really good customer service
The food was excellent, highly recommend the steak and mushrooms in red wine pie. The meat melts in the mouth, the pie is NOT a wet mess and the pie is not over seasoned. The coffee was excellent, I had flat white and it was NOT acidic, or over bitter unlike many available in Ashburton. The metal chairs are noisy on the concrete floor and the table clearing is slow. Perhaps soft rubber pads on the chair legs could fix the noise issue, and maybe the wait staff were busy in the prelunch rush so did not keep on top of the mess. There had been a toddler swim class so who knows.

Good service and coffee was good too. My cheese roll was huge and tasty. Pity they don't have the daily news paper.
Interesting place and lots of fun things to do there and a great place to hold an event.
