What a place! This was wonderful. I tried the flavor machine not working. It was excellent! Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Lots of health signs about what was available. The employee was only slightly uninterested in frozen yogurt but still very polite. Would I come back? Yes I would. View all feedback.
What Kirby Wall doesn't like about Sweet Frog:
we showed up at about 8:30, (which I get is annoying, as a food service worker, but they weren't closed got our froyo and the second we walked out the girl locked the door. (not an exaggeration. and the froyo tasted very bad, like it was expired. had a very distinct *wrong* flavor, almost like it was carbonated. we are very disappointed because we spent like 20 bucks. we have never had an experience like this at any... I arrived at the restaurant on February 10, 2021, expecting it to be open until 8:30 PM, but it was closed by 5:30 PM. A blonde staff member saw us but didn't open the door. Have your hours changed, or was this just an early closure by the staff?
We had specifically called 20 minutes earlier to ask about coming in, and the girl had just told us it was okay. When I confronted her, she shrugged and said, “I’m just 16 and I’m closing by myself.” If that was the case, why tell us it was alright to come over the phone when she would simply lock the door? It doesn't make much sense to take a job in a public-facing role if you're unable to adhere to the scheduled hours. My partner and I stood at the door, bewildered as the same girl, who had assured us it was fine to come, refused to let us in. She claimed her manager had instructed her to close earlier than 9 PM. To clarify, why state it’s acceptable to come in before 9 if they plan to close before that time? I have experience in retail, and for me, 9 PM means 9 PM—not 8:30 or 8:45.
I'm shocked by the limited flavor options! There are only four choices, and most of them are sugar-free. It feels pointless to just pile on sugary toppings that I could easily get at Harris Teeter next door. Charging over $10 per person for frozen yogurt that lacks flavor is simply outrageous. This has been one of the most disappointing Sweet Frog locations I've visited.
What a great place! I had a fantastic experience here. I tried their flavor machine, which unfortunately wasn't working, but the frozen yogurt was excellent! The toppings were fresh and abundant. There were plenty of health signs displaying the available options. The employee seemed a bit disinterested in the frozen yogurt, but they were still very polite. Would I return? Absolutely!
I absolutely love this frozen yogurt shop! You can choose from various cup sizes and serve yourself as much froyo as you want, with pricing based on weight. They have a great toppings bar and a wide selection of flavors. This place is definitely a fantastic spot for frozen yogurt lovers, offering plenty of options. It's also a lot of fun for kids, so come on down and enjoy!
