The lack of coordination between the kitchen and sushi orders was a major disappointment. Despite waiting a considerable amount of time for the sushi order to arrive, everyone who had ordered sushi had finished eating for nearly 10 minutes before a single cooked fish entree was brought out. The server tried to shift the blame by stating that they put the orders in separately to each kitchen and had no control over co... View all feedback.
What Ramona Kuhlman doesn't like about Okada Japanese Restaurant:
im giving this restaurant a 3 because the food was pretty good but the service was terrible. we waited around 35-40 minutes to just order the food. while the food came out pretty fast, once we finished , getting the check was AWFUL. we had to ask another server to get the check and it still took a long time. once we got the checks, they wouldn’t even take them back for 10-15 more minutes. overall the food was good bu... If I could leave a star less than one, I would. Eat it, please don't let me start. After we had waited for our dinner for an hour, the waitress threw it on us. I wish I was sweating. the drinks were watered down to save their $3. After we get our food at different times, it was cold when we could all eat together. I was then presented with plastic that is intertwined with my huh. I was totally shocked and disgusting. the waiters didn't take care of a bit. I was sad as they tried to avoid our table all night. they wouldn't even give us a refill on our watered drinks. Instead, they tried to give me a $4 discount when I spoke to the manager to keep mine mouth. he denied me and I had to go physically and look for him. the manager wouldn't even see me in the eyes or see the plastic plate they served me. the waitress came back and threw the rest of the tabs with my guests who had to apologize for me as a new waiter and behave for her. I hate being this person, but the only young women of color in this facility were treated as less than the people. I will never walk in any restaurant that is in the possession of this islamaphobic and racist people.
Eating was great. service was slow. how I finally had to get up and get my own water. our sushi sat 10 minutes before our waiter at the finished bar. but it was good, so if you have the time. eating is good. when they sit outside, the service is even worse
Beautiful atmosphere, but slightly less than elevated. the eating sushi was freshly made, tasted good, and was the type of light meal that they stayed on a hot or warm Sunday afternoon. I would also recommend the spicy calamari.
I would rate it 3.5 stars. Overall, I would say that eating is quite good, but the service is undefined. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and tried some kung pao huhn. Summary: at the end I don't want to come back and I wouldn't recommend this place because I have the feeling there are many better places. to start with the miso suppe and salat was delicious, I especially liked the salat. many paint miso suppe tastes just like salt water, but the suppe was actually delicious. the salat was also really delicious because the sosse was not only yuk yum, but something else, I feel like it probably had odours. the fork I had eaten looked completely new as I had to take off a piece of plastic, and a part of the spoon looked like a label had been peeled off. the second fork I got had a little serviette. after the suppe and the salate I quickly got, it took time to get the rest of the food. because the kung pao needed time, we had to ask twice to get the Bento box on it. we also asked for a fork and serviette, but our waitress never gave us. Instead we had to ask a passion waiter for her. the sushi and dumplings were really delicious, but the huh was okay. for me it felt that the chicken was not marinated or this tender, and the hawn himself tasted just blanching after my opinion. during the kung pao well tasted with the odours on it, the huh had no taste, but it was just hot. overall the location was quite modern and had a nice view, but eating seemed a little expensive for the amount. that can only be the place. at the end I don't want to come back and I wouldn't recommend this place because I feel there are many better places.
I don't know how long ago were the good reviews of this place, lately this place is just not good. The sushi rice was cold and hard, like if they had them already made and kept in a fridge, completely tasteless. Soup was good. The waiter was nice and attentive, But the ramen were basically industrial noodles that tasted stale. On top of it, the manager, a lady, made a mistake on the bill and refused to fix it. Instead of arguing we paid and left. Terrible experience, not going back. I think it is basically a bar that pretends to sell food...
