I like this place a lot and was excited to see that there was this restaurant in the shopping center as a I enjoyed it when it was a now closed food court restaurant at Dulles Town Center. I like getting the bowls best. The biriyani is pretty spicy but low on meat, but otherwise I like this place a lot and just wish it were back in the Sterling area. View all feedback.
What Vijay S doesn't like about Darubar:
Two times I visited this place and had Medu vada , Masala Dosa and Babai Idly .Vada was a little oily compared to other places where I tried that . One also missing thing is that they should dip the vada or Idly in sambar that will make it more tasty. Overall a nice place for South Indian food. View all feedback.

Food is great and very IndianLove the place and the warmth we get from the staff while serving.
Our go-to spot for Indian burritos and bowls. Never dined in here, always ordered online, and picked up takeout. I always get a lamb burrito and my husband gets a chicken bowl. Burritos you can add multiple sauces. Bowls only 1 sauce. The only reason I mention is that there was a span of a few weeks where their vindaloo sauce was way too spicy for me, so I decided to add an additional sauce to mellow it out, so I always get the vindaloo+chetinand sauce and it's great. We also get the Mysore Bonda. We're pretty familiar with standard Indian food, but there's a lot of stuff on the menu here that we'd never heard of. So we explore the apps a lot. Tried the Mysore Bonda once, and now we always get it. Fried bready balls. My 11 yr old really likes them too. Honestly, I think we ordered more standard stuff the first time with this place. It wasn't bad, that's why we went back. But it wasn't amazing or better than other Indian spots in Ashburn, that's why we tried other things. But the burritos (wraps) and bowls are bomb. There's been a handful of times when I've ordered a burrito, then they call me, and say they're out of wraps. Makes me sad, but then I just ask that they throw everything into a bowl, and they do it, and I eat it. My husband said he saw that they make the wraps in house, so that's cool and maybe why I like them so much.
Great alternative Indian restaurant. Serves Indian food in burritos or bowls. Food is cooked fresh, using Indian bread
