Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Ashburn

This is for take out. I ordered queso and chips, with a chicken quesadilla for take out, to be ready at 1 pm. I walked in early at 12:54pm, and it was already complete! Fast, appreciate it.I got home (6 min away) unpacked the food. The Queso was already getting cold and was gritty. I've never had gritty queso in my life, and it was extremely disappointing.The quesadilla was a mixture of burnt along the outer edges, and under cooked in the middle.I couldn't eat any of it, and threw the meal away.Will not be back.

Updates:Placed an order and it was not ready even 15 minutes after the pick up timeLime pie has too thick crustSo fresh tacos!! I usually get steaks or beef but this place has amazing pork!!!Such good deals are offered almost every weekdaysFriendly staffs and clean restaurant!

This is my all-time favorite restaurant. It serves the best Mexican food in Virginia. The dishes are always fresh and delicious, with consistent quality and service. I absolutely love Cafe Rio! My husband and I always order the vegetarian salads with both pinto and black beans, topped with everything and extra pico. We have visited this location nearly a dozen times this year and have always had a fantastic experience.
