The Snailbox - Ashbourne

Have to say didn't know this place existed till last night but I will be back. Fabulous evening from the moment I entered the bar. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The food was lovely and the fillet steak I had was one of the best I've ever eaten. Super spot for an evening meal or a sunday lunch and the view out to the river Boyne is stunning. Looking forward to my next visit.

My family and I have been going to the Snail Box since I was a child. It's a firm family favourite and we always have the most amazing food and the best experience each time we visit. Phillip Stephen are so welcoming the staff are a credit to them. We love coming here and we always get the best treatment and honestly could not recommend it enough. A warm cosy atmosphere and amazing food what more could you want? Highly highly recommend. One of my favourite restaurants.

Absolutely love here, very friendly and understanding of all needs. Defiantly would recommend for food as it’s delicious and has great flavour! Accommodate big groups also and still look after everyone individually, such an amazing and calm atmosphere also

Absolutely fabulous spot. Booked for my partners birthday on Monday, did the overnight stay and cannot compliment this place enough! The rooms, the food, the atmosphere but what makes this place stand out are the staff! Philip, Stephan, Paddy and the bar girls (sorry I did nt get their names) cannot do enough for you, we were treated like royalty, thanks so much to all of you, you made Brians birthday a very memorable one, looking forward to our next stay already
