Strange that the beautiful deck looks out over a car park, as opposed to directly over the stunning river! But I suppose we have Council planners to thank for that. For all that, it's a very pleasant venue albeit with uncomfortable bench seating and no cushions. But the food is excellent and not too pricey. Pity you have to go inside to order and pay for food and drinks, but that's kind of in line with the quirkiness... View all feedback.
What Julia S doesn't like about The Watermark Restaurant & Bar:
I had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. As a gluten-free diner, there were only 3 buffet items that I could barely eat and 1 dessert option available to me. The lack of cutlery and the only option for water being plastic cups was disappointing. Despite booking in advance with a large group, we were seated at several separate tables. View all feedback.
The place was not busy at all, but it was a Monday night. Despite this, service was haphazard with staff often hard to find. But when engaged, the staff were pleasant. The meals were of a good size and were very tasty. Meals arrived in a timely fashion. Prices were reasonable. The location is very good being right in the river (although there was plenty of mozzies about at dusk).
Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic night....excellent service with amazing food ....well worth the visit....

On hearing radio advertising my wife with a ladies lunch group decided to make this establishment the venue for their October outing and were most impressed with the view, the food and the $15.00 price tag for weekdays. At her suggestion, we decided on an visit with our son, my wife's cousin and her husband for their Friday Night Smorgasboard for the princely sum of $19.95 The quality of the food was great and although the selection was not that big, there was sufficient choice to cater for everyone's tastes. A great selection of fruit, cakes ice cream for deserts. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive and the drink selection quite extensive and priced within the expected range. Saturday nights, they have an Asian Buffet for $25.00 There are other restaurants within the complex. We will certainly be returning for either their week day lunch or their weekend evening offerings or maybe both.
Having heard their advertising repeatedly on Curtin FM we decided to go for lunch after our group, The Entertainers, had finished a concert. The value for money was first rate and the setting right on the river was fabulous. My wife had fish and chips and our keyboard player and I had the steak. The overall combination is probably unbeatable.
