The lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a drink after work, to catch up and meet with friends, or to have a pre-dinner drink before eating at The Royal. The mood can be romantic or lively depending on the time and day you go. The jazz and big band nights they have are a lot of fun and I have even been here for some brilliant staff parties. The Lounge really does have it all!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Lounge:
We love this bar and vibe, just a shame the big woollies/Coles owned pubs sell out to Pepsi and now you can't get a rum/Coke.... You get a rum/Pepsi in the public bar. Ouch. It's business sure, but who likes Pepsi? Really? Ha View all feedback.
A very disappointing experience for a Saturday night! The spaghetti bolognaise didn’t look like it was made in a restaurant let alone an Italian restaurant! The temperature of the restaurant was freezing on a cold night they had all the doors wide open, staff ignored us on arrival
It was our first time dining at The Royal and what a refreshing and excellent place to dine. The service was impeccable and the food just magnificent, we had the Al Dente Spaghetti with prawns and the Braised Lamb Shank, both were sensational. They have an extensive wine list and great beers on tap. It was a busy evening but the service staff were so attentive and happy to go the extra mile, we would definitely recommend The Restaurant as the place to go in Nundah. We live in Wellington Point and we will absolutely be back again.
I had lunch today (31/7) at the recently renovated Royal Hotel in the bustling and growing Nundah area. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining with tables spaced out reasonably well. Ordering is done through a QR code system, which is becoming more common and cuts down on interactions with staff. I chose the seared Barramundi with zucchini strings, sweet capsicum slivers, and small pieces of potato, paired with a beer. The dish was absolutely delicious and the staff was very attentive. This refurbishment brings a touch of class to the suburbs.
The employees seem to enjoy chatting with each other rather than attending to customers. The pizza is decent, but the service is lacking. If you'd like more than one drink, be sure to order two at a time.
My friends and I have been frequenting The Royal at Nundah for the past 6 years for casual get-togethers and dinners. Our experience last night was particularly delightful, thanks to our attentive server, Amarita. She consistently checked on us, making sure we had everything we needed, allowing us to enjoy our evening without any interruptions. The food at The Royal never fails to impress with its delicious Italian dishes. Additionally, the cocktails are reasonably priced, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable.
