I love the roast duck salad here. I trek across town to have it, hence the four star rating. Ginga has a sushi train and an a la carte menu. I don't eat from sushi trains though the food here is freshly made and looks nice. Ginga is a great place for casual dining and tasty food. View all feedback.
What Artiks Siliņš doesn't like about Ginga Sushi Bar and Dining:
Food was cold and extremely over priced. I have tasted a lot of sushi and this ginga restaraunt is below average. Sushi train at clayfield sets a good standard of what sushi should be. Ginga is lacking service, taste as well as authenticity. View all feedback.

Really nice food! Good service! Quick and easy always has food on the train so you're not waiting around for them to make it... but they do make it fresh if you ask them to! I would go here again
We need to talk Ginga. It's not your fault I keep going to the movies hungry & with scant little time to eat, making you a convenient quick fix. That's 100% on me. But you need to hold up your end of the bargain. Where's the variety / quantity / quality? There was beef in a sushi roll tonight that was seriously chewy, and by 'chewy' I mean 'inedible'. There was no cheery greeting or in fact any greeting at all. The staff barely tolerated us. Clearly you have a captive market of unit dwellers, cruise ship tourists & movie mugs like me, but there's no need for complacency. I also like my money and it frankly costs too much for this suboptimal experience. $4.80 for a tiny serve of soggy edamame is uncool. Sushi Edo & their $3.50 plates of deliciousness put you to shame. So it's time. I'm breaking up with you. It's not me, it's you. ????
I had a quick casual dinner at Ginga on my way to the airport. I started with some gyoza. I was assured by the staff they were prawn which was reassuring as I don't eat pork. They were the oiliest gyoza I've ever had - not the best. I moved on the sushi. I found it hard to identify what was going around on the train especially for the sushi covered in mayonnaise. The sushi I had was cooked tuna and avocado. It was average overall and the tuna tasted very sweet. I had ordered a main meal - a large sized salmon belly with avocado and ponzu sauce. It took longer than expected to arrive considering there weren't many people there but when it arrived it looked and tasted exquisite. The salmon was juicy and served at room temperature for maximum flavour. The avocado was generous. There were also some noodles to round out the dish and add some much needed crunch and caviar for flavour. I'm not sure what the red stuff was on top. It looked like fake saffron. I decided not to eat it as it barely seemed edible. I hope I didn't miss out on something good. Overall, this place is average but judging from the meal I had I would definitely recommend a meal rather than eating from the train.
