Contribute FeedbackThe food and atmosphere were perfect! The service not so much. Honestly, compliments to the chef. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side but the atmosphere, the scenic view with the pool and hills, and the quality of food make it worth it. Had the steak which was sooo good, cooked exactly as asked (medium rare), and had a nice sear. The starter, melon with prosciutto hit the right spot: very sweet melon, but even the prosciutto itself was so good you could have it on its own. And the creme brulee was classic: tasty and with a nice burnt layer in top. The only disappointment was the service: every waiter was rushing, barely looking at you, no smiles, nothing. Which for such a high price restaurant you would expect a bit more. We didn’t even have napkins at our table, and we poured every drink ourselves.
I recently visited Delta Salotto in Ascona and have to say that I had the best beef stroganoff of my life there! The atmosphere was elegant and the service excellent. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, but the beef stroganoff really stood out. If you are in Ascona and want to enjoy a fine meal, I can only warmly recommend the Delta Salotto.
One of the better restaurants in Ascona. Very good fish. Otherwise somewhat conventional card. Unfortunately no asparagus despite the season. Good service. Swiss prices, but rather moderate in this context. Good wine list (especially Italian).
Speisen waren sehr sorgfältig und feinschmeckend gekocht. Die Weine waren exklusiv. Die Privatsphäre war gewahrt durch genügend Abstand zu den anderen Tischen. Die Atmosphäre war gut mit diskreter Musikbegleitung. Das Frühstück war lecker.
Es war alles gut, feines Essen etc. Leider hatten nicht alle Kellner die Maske immer korrekt (auch Nase abgedeckt) an. Während dieser Corona-Zeit ist mir das wichtig.
