Great, great experience at Hotel Gasthof Schäfflerwirt! We opted to try staying outside of Munich for our five nights in Bavaria. Quick, easy access into Munich or around the Bavaria region via Munchen OST station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even fed us although the restaurant was fully booked. Great rooms. Clean and well apportioned.ally, really good breakfast! Re We were able to easily communicate with the hotel to ask questions and prepare for our stay. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Just m... read more This trip to Munich I decided to stay in a local Bavarian hotel and I'm very glad I did. My room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed. Just missing a kettle and some tea/coffee, which would have been very welcome. Good choice of breakfast options continental cheeses, meats, cereals, juices, tea/coffee, eggs and bacon. I believe they also serve evening dinner, but unfortunately I always came back too late for this, so maybe next time! Very conveniently situated, just 2 mins from a bus stop direct to Munich Messe in one direction, or towards the airport in the other. Than you for a pleasant stay :

We saw this gem on the ride by and said we have to go there It was fantastic. The place was busy for a monday; the staff was exceptional, handling the crowd very well. Absolutely loved the interior. Looked like the locals in front at the pub and people from the hotel in back grabbing dinner. This place has been in business for almost 200 years for a reason. It 's more than a hotel/restaurant, it 's an institution.

The quality of the... read more A traditional hotel and inn, beautifully renovated in a modern style with many distinctive design elements and individually furnished rooms. The quality of the restaurant, breakfast, and service was very good, and the price/performance ratio was excellent. I would return anytime. Free parking on site and free internet.
