In general ristorante Italiano/Schmidts house in aschbach is the favorite place of a friend who – also Italian – always praises the kitchen in the highest tones... read more In general ristorante Italiano/Schmidts house in aschbach is the favorite place of a friend who – also Italian – always praises the kitchen in the highest tones. so for us a visit of the rigite on the main road of ashbach, the koblenzer road, was just a question of time. the restaurant is located in a lovingly restored old building, with partly exposed brickwork and cozy tasteful furniture. the unique comfortable environment, whether in the restaurant, schieune, pilstube or the beautiful beer garden, invites you to enjoy a stay. chef alessandro pampered his guests with upscale Mediterranean cuisine to not lift out. next to pizza, the menu offers a wide range of Italian delicacies with an appealing selection of cold and warm appetizers, salads, suppening, pasta – and meat dishes as well as desserts for the crowning conclusion or cheese to taste. the comprehensive offer is complemented by one or the other day recommendation on a slope table. the service in the “Italiano” is impeccable, the service couple is an established team that obviously has fun working professional and well laune its guests concerned; the more amazing how the restaurant well visited and alessandro was exclusively responsible for the kitchen and for the service in the table exclusively its wife. Here's the hospitable king. but we stayed with the recommendation of my friend who said we should try a steak court. so we ordered bistecche di manzo al vino rosso rumpsteak in red wine sauce with pommes and inlay salat at 21.50 € · tagliata indiavolata rumpsteak roasted and cut on sharp noodles, with parmiggiano and crema di balsamico sharp on 22,50 € as gruß aus der koch was a mixture of peperoni, green and blackandro he understands to make ingredients of excellent quality and fresh, craftsmanship perfect for his guests. he already proves an experienced hand in the selection of the individual ingredients. quality they smell and taste. the leaf salad, a crispy fresh leaf salad with paric stripes, radishes and rinds, with a hauch of aromatized olive oil, fine bitter and pleasant to change the strongly sweet balsamico, was an exquisite starter. the meat, rumpsteak from the black Argentinean angus of unique quality, was too kneeling. well-hanged, perfectly medium-fried, absolutely no tendencies, super juicy, aromatic, extremely delicate in cut and bite – not to dive. like the steak at both, bistecche di manzo and tagliata indiavolata, were able to convince all supplements. the excellent dark beautifully prepared by long-glimmering thickened red wine sauce, the freshly cut bims like the self-made noodles, al dente, pikantly seasoned in intense aromatic parmiggianoraspels and pleasantly sharp balsamico crema. in the “Italiano” they taste that all seasoned homemade and without prefabricated flavor. we're coming back. Conclusion: superior Mediterranean cuisine, kreatiw and handmade perfect, very good value for money my recommendation.
