Outstanding. I am ashamed to admit that this was my first visit to Porta. This restaurant has been highly praised for years and I had always wanted to come, but never made it until now. It not only lives up to its reputation, but exceeds it. The atmosphere is relaxed and cool, yet still trendy, and the food was amazing. The flavor combinations were spot on. We tried the margarita pizza and the summer Betty, both of which blew us away, and we are self-proclaimed pizza connoisseurs. We also enjoyed the hand-rolled meatballs, pesto and sun-dried tomato risotto, the Billy Ocean (Squid ink fettuccine with PEI mussels and octopus, garlic, and capers), and The Gorgonzooch (fettuccine with Gorgonzola, arugula, and Parmesan Reggiano). Each dish was well-prepared, generous, and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent, with our food arriving promptly and our server being very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning. I regret not coming sooner and urge others not to make the same mistake. It is definitely worth the visit and will now be a regular spot for us. A new favorite for sure!
