Belmontes - Asbury Park

The weather was wonderful for dinner outside. The restaurant was busy with very few waiting staff, but the service was sufficient and the food came hot and faster than we expected. Monday and Thursday pasta half price with great share!

Very nice restaurant, owners are friendly and working hard for a comfortable dining room experience. The food is delicious, the best eggplant ever since the mother. All the dishes we tried are excellent. We were on vacation twice, I recommend Belmonte's, I wish I would live closer!

We said we were waiting for 45 minutes and just a family before us. The person behind the counter didn't even take care of the name. We waited out patiently for 30 minutes, even after the family before us got the table and another group left. 4 young white people went in and they got the table while we waited outside with hungry teenagers (we were a party of 4 too). When We asked the waitress who apologized them, but the person behind the counter was unapologetic, he did not care about our business (can be because our skin color is not white? . We went away and went to Reyla just 2 minutes walk, welcoming, friendly and friendly staff, beautiful ambience, excellent cocktails and delicious Mediterranean food.

I'm sorry, but the food was salty. The staff were very friendly and nice, but the food (Muschel with white wine sauce and the grilled tuna was super salty). And bring your own bottle.

Very Gluten free friendly and had a wonderful salad and gf pasta dish my husband also had pasta with lots of vegetables and said it was delicious and very fresh. Attentive waitress. Great experience. Would definitely return.
