We were staying at the Grand Hotel, looking for somewhere to have dinner within the hotel. We were told dinner is only for half board guests and were directed to Tanin. I'm not a big fish eater so the menu filled me with dread as there's very few alternatives. We're familiar with fine dining having eaten in a few Michelin Star restaurants, this was over priced for the service and food we recieved... even by Sardinan prices! We both had a nice bowl of pasta each and a bottle of sparkling water for the table. They brought out breads to share too, they were nice. We paid approx €120 for this.
My wife and I dined at this restaurant during our stay in Porto Cervo and it was one of our favorites! Everything we ate was excellent and service was exceptional. The incredible view is a nice added benefit. Highly recommended!
16 euro fee for forks and knives for two persons say a lot about this place. Nice location but we got place beside a condenser of cooler when it was 30 degrees warm. The crew was pretty rude when we did not order starter and rolling his eyes like what are you doing here.
Great food, service and location. We had a fantastic meal and the atmosphere was lovely. A special thanks to Erika who made it all possible! Will be back.
Very traditional location with prestigious wood and typical stone floors… amazing terrace that offer a fabulous viewing on the port where you can enjoy a unique sunset. The food is very good… all the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful… . We had a stunning octopus very well cooked (steamed and grilled … and than we had a good spaghetti and clams with bottarga (not excellent for me because I prefer to eat a square size and more “Al dente” … the sea bream cooked with salt was really really good… we tried even the lamb that was very tasty amazing and we choose a nice bottle of wine Pinot Grigio. I really appreciate everything and the price for two people was affordable.
