the village was built in the 1960s on the initiative of Aga Han a billionaire from the Golf, who was a London resident) as a destination for a super rich. There is really nothing interesting for tourists in Porto Cervo. You can finf there the center of the village, definitely needs of renovation, a place with quite ugly architecture. Porto Cervo is a picture of beauty and serenity. The super yachts moored there exceeded 150m and were incredible. The shops and restaurants abound, but this is a quiet place compared to those in the Spanish Riviera. If you are looking for quiet and elegant, this is it. View all feedback.
