The fixed... read more Found this restaurant via TripAdvisor and it was a really good experience. I expected something small however the restaurant is massive and also full. The fixed menu is really good, try not to eat everything otherwise you will be full at the pasta dishes and you will miss out on the meat! This is a great restaurant to eat locally produced products. Next time Sardinia I would like to visit thé shop and farm as well!

We called them to make a reservation 3 days in advance and we asked for 9 pm. They said there are two slots of dinner and second is starting from 9:30 pm. We confirmed to start at 9:30. We were there before our reservation and we started to wait. There are huge amount of people which makes the soul of “agriturismo” fake. Because all products should be produced by them but of course to be able to host more than 300 people every night you have to have half of the Sardinia. Anyway, when we were waiting another couple came and they were a friend of the guy who shows the place to sit. They came after us they chat a little with the guy when the table was getting ready for them and sat before us. We waited more than 35 mins we were only 2) and they told us this is how it is we have to wait. Of course we got angry and we left also because food is fixed menu and it takes 2 hours all dining time. It is stupid to pay 35 euro per person to treated like this and start eating after 10 pm. Unfortunately got too much commercial and this fact make them obviously not able to manage it. And in order to stay as an agriturismo they shouldn’t push for just making money. In short,there are better places you can eat and spend time in Sardinia!!

It’s a wonderful venue, the food is fantastically fresh of their own production, so genuine and cooked spot on. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that they really make you feel part of the agriturismo. We also recommend to visit their excellent food shop where they sell their own products and alcohol. A place where we definitely would go back again if visiting this beautiful part of Sardinia again.

Most of the food is grown and produced on the farm so it was all fresh and tasted amazing. We will visit Lu Branu again. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the welcome from the staff made for the most wonderful relaxing stay.

The next course was 3 tiny pieces of wild boar and the pork was tiny too. The vegiterian head meal came out cold.. lucky my wife had loads of poor quality pasta. The deserts were nothing to writr home about. I would not recommend this place to anyone. No we will not be going back. Better Augrotourismo places around.
