Cavernous place that I've visited twice and excellent both times. Full of locals with large families and excellent service despite the huge crowds that visit especially at the weekend. Not for vegetarians as grilled meat is the speciality and they do it well.
The menu is a little short, but everything we tried was tasty, we totally recommend morcilla, gofio and any meat! Pd: Avoids Sunday
On Sunday early afternoon we visited this place. It is highly recommended to book. When we left, the line of people was huge, and the manager was calling people with a loudspeakers. The choice is not wide but it is great to see and taste some dishes. Let the waiter recommend the local specialties, such as fried warm cheese, the black sausage, local wines, local beans and the different meats. I couldn’t finish everything I order and that doesn’t normally happen.
Large meat eatery. Good atmosphere. Very reasonably price. Quite rustic, but friendly staff and great atmosphere.
When a whole steaming hot loaf of bread came with a pot of homemade garlic butter we knew we were in for a good meal and we were right. Despite this being a huge restaurant it is still advisable to book especially at weekends, the Saturday we went there was a long line of people waiting for tables. The menu is small but what they do do, they do really well and everything is cooked to perfection on the parrillada grill. The food is excellent, we had watercress soup; a huge slab of grilled smoked cheese with lovely mojo sauce, tomatoes, peppers, steak, be warned though portions are huge and you should definitely save room for their dessert with gofio. Great atmosphere and staff here as well, would come here again for a big hearty lunch.
