Thailicious - Artesia
Thailicious
Description
Nestled in a bustling strip mall, this Thai restaurant garners mixed reviews despite its reputation for flavor and authenticity. Diners rave about the delicious offerings, including standout dishes like Garlic Pepper and Thai boat noodles, alongside generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. However, service has been inconsistent; some guests report unfriendly staff interactions. While the menu caters to diverse preferences, dietary accommodations are appreciated but could be better communicated. A recent experience involving food hygiene raised concerns for one patron, overshadowing the culinary praise. Overall, while the food receives high marks, potential improvements in service and communication could enhance the dining experience.

One of the better tasting Thai restaurant in the area. The menu is standard Thai fare like Pad Thai, Masaman and the likes. It is a small joint in a crowded strip mall. Parking can be a hassle sometimes. I have been here couple of times for lunch. Service is fast and professional. The palate is slightly on the milder side. A standard outcome in most Thai restaurants which are Americanized in their dishes.
Pad See Ew was so good. I will ask for more spice next time though. The regular was not spicy enough.
This restaurant continues to serve exceptionally good and delicious food. I recently tried the pad thai and red curry after almost a year, and if anything, they have only gotten better. The portions are huge, especially the soups, which are meant to be shared by four people. It would have been helpful if they had warned us about this. My dining partner and I were only two people and ended up with a lot of leftover soup. Additionally, if you request half veggies and half tofu in a dish, they cannot split the charge on the receipt, so you will receive both ingredients but be charged for both. It would have been nice if they had informed us about this as well, but it's not a big deal. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place. They can customize most dishes as vegetarian and even remove fish sauce, indicating that everything is fresh and made from scratch.
Their lunch special taste good and very affordable. I got the green curry and I like it a lot. But you must order their dessert! They have a dessert called the bomb and it is a bomb! It’s a fried roti with strawberry and banana inside, then topped with ascoops of vanilla ice cream, some whipped cream, then glazed it with some chocolate sauce. Though I am so full that I need a boxfor my curry and sides, but I still finished the whole dessert, it is too good. I would definitely come next time!
