Salo-salo Grill - Artesia

The sisig was the standout dish of my meal here—full of flavor and unlike anything I've ever tried before. However, I have to take off a star because they charge $7 for a side of rice. At $17-$19 per plate, I was taken aback that rice wasn’t included, and the $7 charge felt like an unwelcome surprise. The server also didn’t mention that rice would be an additional cost when we were asked if we wanted it. Unfortunately, the liempo was quite bland. Next time, I think I’ll just order the sisig to go and make my own rice!

I ordered crispy pata the other day, and when I got home, I found that it was overcooked to the point that even the bone was burned. It was extremely disappointing!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was top notch, the food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the parking was a breeze, especially since it's right by the mall. Can't recommend this place enough you won't be disappointed!

The best crispy pata in Town! The meat was soft and the skin is crispy and flavorful. great service ! The owner Mikey was servi ng us and we was very friendly and accommodating. The pork bbq and chicken was good as well! Im taking my homesick friends here??

Always a pleasure eating here at salo salo...Great food, service and atmosphere...If you're in West Covina they also have one there...
