808 Local Hawaiian Grill - Artesia

My first time enjoying lunch at 808. The BBQ Hawaiian chicken was amazing. I had quick service and delicious macaroni salad. Thank you 808 for a yummy end of my work week lunch. They also have bowls and sushi rolls. Fresh and delicious.

The food's good, services are quick and friendly. Their Island Beef Ribs are a must. Portion sizes are amazing!

Shared the grilled/katsu chicken combo with my daughter. It was awesome. Best Mac salad I have ever had. Rice seasoned nicely. Fast friendly service. Well definitely turn to try other dishes.

Shared the grilled chicken and katsu chicken combo. Great flavors. Most chicken. Mac salad was the bomb. Rice was good. Also had the spam/rice wrap. Overall a very good experience and we will return.

One pound of poke= 15 small cubes of salmon and half an onion. I’ve been here 3 times now to give it a fair shake. Portions very small, extremely pricey for what you get. Food is solidly below average. Outer fry on the chicken katsu was good, but after the crust it was not cooked all the way through, still mushy panko and the chicken was very tough. Staff is nice, but not worth the value for food. I would rank it behind L&L in quality and value. My biggest gripe is the sheer amount of onions in this poke. It’s mostly sauce and onion. I won’t be coming back here a 4th time.
