Rooster Creek Tavern - Arroyo Grande

I ordered the cheeseburger with a Cheddar-Jack combo, and I must say, the first bite was incredibly good. It stayed delicious to the end, and I found myself picking up crumbs from my plate. Alongside my burger, I had coleslaw, which was decent – nothing to write home about, but it was fine. The service was excellent; our server checked on us four times during our meal to ensure everything was okay. We also shared an appetizer, which was a bit underwhelming. It was chips and guacamole – good, but it didn’t really impress me, likely because I was very hungry and ended up eating about half of it. My wife ordered a BLT and raved about how delicious the bacon was. When she stepped away to use the restroom, I couldn’t resist and took a big bite from her remaining half. I have to say, the BLT was fantastic. The addition of jalapeño bacon gave it a delightful kick. We look forward to returning for dinner soon!
