Beautiful, Beautiful, Delicious, Delicious, and Delicious.is all I can think of as I sit down to write this review after my recent trip to Madrid.__We
Ambiance appears to reflect some sort of "natural chic" with wooden tables and wood panels on ceiling and walls, hower you then find brown plastic chairs
First to the positives: the setup is beautiful. When you enter you get the feeling of being in a nicely decorated finca in the countryside. But that‘s about the only really nice and outstanding element. It is huge, really giant. The lead you from big room to the next big room, to the next big room, which kind of destroys the first impression of a nice finca in the countryside. The food is mediocre, at best. For example the salpicón de marisco was okay but mixed with a sour sauce and big pieces of raw onion. The other starters and mains were okay, but at best average. What was most disappointing was the service. Every single person serving us and there was a lot of change was unfriendly. Besides waiting for 25 minutes until someone came to take our order, we had to refill our wine and water ourselves. Whenever we had a question or request we were given the feeling of being annoying. We went with Spanish friends from Madrid who had been there several times in the past and they were shocked. Such a pity, such rude and unfriendly service destroys the entire experience. It‘s not worth driving there. There is way better restaurants for that price in Madrid.
