Always smells good when you arrive. Always tastes good when you are there. Always feels good to come back again
Great location, wonderful ambience inside, excellent food. The Monkfish we got was prepared to absolute perfection, it could not have been given a better treatment. Specialities from Spain on the menu, with a particular specialization towards seafood. The food is not pretencious or overly artistic. The fish was presented with a simple sauce. The starters were to the point and easy to share. The chef really went out of their way to enhance the ingredients. I have not eaten better seafood in years.
Whilst visiting family in Madrid, they had booked the four of us into this restaurant. Large parking area, so ease of parking, with shade too. The welcome at the entrance was less than memorable. We were walked through a number of large, busy rooms, to our pleasantly situated table. We had a view of the terrace outside and to our surprise a DJ. The older waitress was borderline rude, even preferring to message on her phone as we were trying, in vain to attract her attention. So much so, that two of her colleagues spoke to her and she told them to be quiet! We needed to leave in good time to collect young school children and she was utterly disinterested….. The food we enjoyed what we ordered, although we had to wait patiently for someone to take our drink and food orders. It is a pleasant environment to have lunch, but the service is somewhat lacking and is off putting to say the least.
