Going to Arouca and not having a coffee at Alpha5 is like going to Rome... read more The best bakery/tea saloon in Arouca (and also a great place to eat meals on the cheap). Going to Arouca and not having a coffee at Alpha5 is like going to Rome and not seeing the pope. All the locals have breakfast or meet at Alpha5, notably at Sunday morning (you won 't find a table). Their pastries are the best in town and I strongly advise their pastéis de nata as well as many other delicacies they 've become expert on. Strongly advise a coffee at least!
